There is no need to close Walton Street. It will create chaos for residents in side streets, create new rat runs and damage business. We don't have the climate for widespread outdoor seating - and any increase in the use of outdoor space heaters would be wrong. Walton Street is a commercial thoroughfare and has been for 200 years - it is not an appropriate road for closure.
