Photo #9376

Victoria Avenue Toucan 1.

There is a dreadful, half gate stile out of view on the central post - just the thing for skinning the knuckles of a hapless child on a trailer bike.
[The 'pram arm' is visible in #11520 ]

Otherwise, this crossing seems to work well, possibly due to the predominance of cyclists using it.

The posts are placed to divide oncoming streams (good) rather than force them into each others' paths.

This crossing has nearside (Puffin style) crossing indicators only.

There is no automatic cycle detection.
