The cycle route signs refer to the north-south route behind the camera; the Residents Only sign refers to St Bernard's Road to the east, where a local campaign has put up lots of signs calling for traffic calming and a 20mph limit.

Retro-style finger signs for 'cycles only' to the right and 'pedestrians only' to the left, for a short distance.

No right turn into Oxford's main shopping area (except cycles 6pm-10am only) and Sustrans signage.

Love wins. Also a footpath and cycleway (and a bridleway, but a nice done-up one).

This bit of the Thames Path is a signed cycle route between Botley Road and the South side of the City Centre.
